it's raining...lets go to the beach

come with us... it is so rainy at the moment...

there are rivers running down our road

perfect for racing leaves and catching them in cups

of course there are excellent jumping-in puddles

a bit of sandcastle making, in fact rain makes the sand just perfect for sandcastles.

playing on the over turned boat (we always stop here when we visit the beach, it's great to play on)

it had tiny, tiny sea snails on it today (maybe waiting for a lift from a passing whale?)

The puddles made an excellent lake for floating flower boats on.

And of course the best thing about rainy day walks is getting home, having a hot shower, getting snuggled in a jumper with a good book and a hot chocolate.

(still I hope the sun shines again tomorrow!)
